Dit is het originele item dat in mijn eigen atelier gemaakt wordt in glas. Kopieën in omloop op Facebook zijn van goedkoop plexiglas en van een mindere kwaliteit. Ik heb geen samenwerking met dat bedrijf noch heb ik toestemming gegeven voor het gebruik van mijn productfoto's. Aankopen bij anderen dan mijzelf kunnen resulteren in teleurstelling. Voor een uniek handgemaakt kwalitatief stukje glaskunst kunt u het beste bij mij terecht. Zoekt u een goedkoop plastic hangertje dat onrechtmatig aangeboden wordt door twijfelachtige organisaties, dan hoop ik dat u niet teleurgesteld wordt.
Houd er rekening mee dat geen plaat glas hetzelfde is. Ook bij het bestellen van dezelfde kleur als op de afbeelding zullen er kleine kleur en/of textuur verschillen zijn. Jouw item heeft dus altijd een unieke tekening in het glas ;-)

De techniek waarin dit stuk is gemaakt is de Tiffany methode.
Hierbij kun je kleine details in het ontwerp laten, doordat de stukjes glas niet in knokig loodprofiel gesloten hoeven te worden, maar elk afzonderlijk stukje glas in fijn koper gewikkeld wordt. Dat stelt ons in staat om alle stukjes glas aan elkaar te solderen, en zo een stevig, gedetailleerd, en prachtig geheel te creëren!

The method used
to make this item is The Tiffany stained glass method
It allows working
small details into your (multidimensional) piece, without having to wrap bulky lead came around each piece of glass Instead it lets you wrap each individual glass piece in a very thin copper foil
That copper allows the pieces of glass then to be soldered together, using an
alloy of lead and
tin
